Each lesson has 4 parts:

  1. Talk about an article
  2. Presentation
  3. Learn N3 Grammar
  4. 5 min Conversation

1. Talk About an Article

I share a short video after every lesson. In the video, I read a short article based on real news.  I share the article as text, too. Read/listen to the article as homework. You will talk about the article with your classmates in the following class.

*The videos will be shared with my patrons ($5+ per month), too. I will share it only on Patreon, not on YouTube.

2. Presentation

One of the students gives a presentation in front of the class. I share topics, so please choose something from the list. If you send me the script of the presentation in advance, I will check and correct it.

3. Learn N3 Grammar

We will use a textbook TRY N3 in the class. We will learn 2 grammar points in each lesson. If you don’t have the textbook, please buy it before the class starts.

In this semester we will cover No.73 …てます to No.96 っぽい of the textbook.

4. 5min Conversation

I will give you a topic and you will talk about the topic with your classmates. The topics are travel, food, lifestyle, hobbies etc.

This course is for people who have finished N4 level textbook like “Genki 2” or “Minna no nihongo 2”. (You don’t have to master all the grammar points of those textbooks perfectly.)

*If your Japanese level is N2 or more advanced, please refrain from applying for this class.

If you’re not sure your level is appropriate for this course, here’s the videos of N3 level lessons of mine. The group lessons’ contents and style will be different from YouTube, but this is how I speak in the class.

We will use Zoom for the lessons.

I use Google Classroom to share the homework etc. Students can use it for free if you have a Google (Gmail) account. If you don’t have a Google account, please let me know.

*If you are absent from the class, you cannot reschedule or get a refund. I will share the article and the homework with you, so please prepare for the next class as homework.

*The lesson fee once paid will not be refunded.

*We will have a one-on-one meeting for a level check before starting the class. Please book a meeting via my Calendly link. I’ll send it once I receive the application. Please understand that I may have to decline your admission depending on the results of the level check.

*Please pay the lesson fee via PayPal or Wise (bank transfer). I will send you the details about the payment after the level-check meeting.
