Each lesson has 3 parts:

  1. Read and Discuss an article
  2. Learn N2 Grammar
  3. 5 min Conversation

1. Read and Discuss an article

For each lesson, I will share an article with you. The articles will be mainly about tech or games. You will read the article and write an essay about it as homework. Please share the essay with your classmates on Google Classroom.  Reading and writing every week will improve your vocabulary and grammar skills a lot. You will talk about the article with your classmates in the following class, too. (You will not read your essay in the class. I will give you feedback for your essay through Google Docs instead.)

The topics we read and discussed in the past:
・PS5の転売問題
・日本でEC (E-commerce) 化が進まない理由とは
・オンライン診療
・日本でのeスポーツの現状と今後の可能性
・ビッグデータと個人情報 etc.

2. Learn N2 Grammar

We will use a textbook TRY N2 in the class. We will learn 2 grammar points in each lesson. If you don’t have the textbook, please buy it before the class starts.

In this semester we will cover No.73 お…になる to No.96 …か…かのうちに of the textbook.

3. 5min Conversation

I will give you a topic and you will talk about the topic with your classmates. The topics are travel, food, lifestyle, hobbies etc.

This course is for people who have finished the N3 level textbook. (You don’t have to master all the grammar points of N3 perfectly.)

I recommend this course for people who are interested in tech and games.

If you’re not sure your level is appropriate for this course, here are the videos of advanced-level lessons of mine. The group lessons’ contents and style are different from YouTube, but this is how I speak in the class.

We will use Zoom for the lessons.

I use Google Classroom to share the homework etc. Students can use it for free if you have a Google (Gmail) account. If you don’t have a Google account, please let me know.

*If you are absent from the class, you cannot reschedule or get a refund. I will share the article and the homework with you, so please prepare for the next class as homework.

*The lesson fee once paid will not be refunded.

*We will have a one-on-one meeting for a level check before starting the class. Please book a meeting via my Calendly link. I’ll send it once I receive the application. Please understand that I may have to decline your admission depending on the results of the level check.

*Please pay the lesson fee via PayPal or Wise (bank transfer). I will send you the details about the payment after the level-check meeting.
